Process
1. Diagnostic
2. Removal
3. Testing
4. Repairs
1. Diagnostic
After receiving your vehicle, we run a diagnostic test to see where the problem is, as well as what the problem is and if it is with the injector or something else in your car. Diagnostics help us to accurately pinpoint the problem so that we can know where the problem is as well as what the problem is. An important step to ensure good and satisfying services.
2. Removal
After the diagnostic test, we remove the injector and prepare it for the testing phase of the process. This includes cleaning the injector to make sure that there is no interference with the testing.
3.Testing
During testing we use our specialised equipment to see exactly what is wrong on each injector.
Some problems that show during testing:
- Backleakage
- Full Load Delivery Quantity
- Part Load Delivery Quantity
- Pre-Injection Delivery Quantity
- Idling Delivery Quantity
- Visual Inspection Of Atomisation And Sealing Of Injector Nozzle
- Starting And Idling
- Pilot Test
- Medium Load And Full Load
- By-Pass Return Flow
- Low Pressure Leak Test
- High Pressure Leak Test
- Emission Testing
- Pre-Injection Testing
After Testing results captured. Results and possible solutions were discussed with our client for each injector. A quote is then provided to our client for the required work.
4. Repairs
After the results and solutions are discussed with client, the repair process starts as per OEM Standards.
Specialised equipment is used for 3 stage assembly. After repairs and re-assembly, testing is repeated to get updated results. This entire process is done for each individual injector.New Injectors can be ordered to replace injectors that cannot be fixed.
Quantity Correction Codes is written for each repaired or new injector to account for each specific injectors wear and tear. The vehicles computer uses this code to run each injector optimally.
